Barbara Eldredge is a design writer and editor based in New York City.
Fascinated by the ways that objects encode meaning, Barbara has written about everything from firearms and museums to architecture, AI, and voice user interfaces. As a writer for Google Design, Barbara spends much of her time crafting articles for design.google, organizing Google’s annual SPAN conference, and producing the Method podcast.
Past work includes ghostwriting and content creation for companies including Uptake, frog design, Pentagram, GE, and others. Barbara has an MFA in Design Criticism and helped start MoMA’s R&D Department with Paola Antonelli.
